From February 17 to 25, the association of Frankfurt city and tourist guides e.V. invites you to a total of 13 tours through Frankfurt. Fritz Bauer, Anne Frank and Luther are topics, but also the Baader-Meinhof Group Frankfurt and Frankfurt's most beautiful love stories. The dates and meeting places of the free tours are listed at "A great offer for tourists too," says Thomas Feda, Managing Director of the Frankfurt Tourism + Congress GmbH.
Of course, those who come to Frankfurt for a different date do not have to do without exciting and extraordinary city tours. Throughout the year, the Tourismus + Congress GmbH Frankfurt (TCF) offers tours on various topics. New to the program from April onwards are tours through and around the new Old Town – the DomRömer Quarter. A project that has made history and will write history. "Frankfurter Strangenesses – Enigmatic, Curious and Hidden Places around Frankfurt's Old Town" and "Stories Tell – History and Stories from Frankfurt or Frankfurt for the Advanced" are the names of the new tours offered to groups in different languages. They deal with the changeable history, the tolerant attitude and the resourcefulness of the Frankfurters on the one hand, and with façade figures and building sculptures on the other hand.
From June 2018, when the construction fences at DomRömer-Quartier have finally come down, it finally goes into the new old town. Then start the public old town tours. The tours through the winding streets and along the coronation path are offered daily in German and English. Tickets are available online and at the Tourist Information Römer.
